Little life update:
First of all I wish you all a nice September. Autumn has already arrived here in Austria and I'm really happy about it. The last few days and weeks have been very turbulent. August had already given me a stomach ache because I had returned to my day job and we had to adapt to a new daily routine. Actually, I was relatively relaxed about September and the start of school and kindergarten for my children. Luckily, the little one loves going to kindergarten. I thought that the little ones might have problems with the big change, but it's the big one who is having a hard time. He is super sensitive and very shy. Positive experiences would be so important for him and his self-confidence, but he just can't bring himself to try new things. If anyone has any tips on how to boost the self-confidence of a sensitive little boy who is built very close to water... bring it on, I appreciate any advice.
In addition to the adjustment with work, school, kindergarten and Co., we all have a cold in the family. I've been battling my cold for almost three weeks now. Sometimes it gets better, sometimes I can hardly get out of bed. All very exhausting at the moment.
Illustrating:
In terms of drawing, things have been going quite well for the past few weeks. I was allowed to do the logo for "Wald deines Lebens“ (=Forest of your life). I'm also working on another children's book. This book is for slightly older children and the drawings are in black and white. The story is fantastic and very humorous and it's a lot of fun to work on. When it will appear is still unclear, but probably early next year.
At the moment I'm also hosting an autumnal DTIYS on Instagram. I hope you are as excited about fall as I am. My absolute favorite season!
And don't forget: Robbie Rabbit and the Christmas Gift, written by the wonderful Katie Budge (Instagram: @kt_budge_books) and illustrated by me, is available now on Amazon. I'm very happy and can't wait to hold my copy in my hands. It's a really lovely story, about love, family and togetherness.
My question to you:
Do you like reading blog posts? If yes, what would you like to read (more about my private life, about my approach to illustration, tips for drawing,..). I would be very happy if you let me know in the comments or vote in the poll what you would like to read from me in my next blog post.

I hope you are doing well. Feel free to write me if you are also experiencing moments that are worrying you. Sometimes just talking or writing about it helps. If you want, tell me about beautiful moments that you would like to share too. Either way, I'd love to hear from you!
So thanks for reading and see you next time.
Bye Bye!
